Trango to demonstrate Rapid Response Centre solution and capability
Trango will be exhibiting at the Expeditionary/Humanitarian Operations Infrastructure Showcase (EHOIS) on Wednesday 10th June 2009 at the Gibraltar Barracks, Minley Manor, Surrey. The event will be open (invitation only) between 1000 and approx 1530.
The event, organised jointly by UKTI DSO’s Small Business Unit and Military Export Support Team will give participating companies the opportunity to display products and capabilities relating to the expeditionary/humanitarian operations/ infrastructure arena. This includes equipment such as temporary shelters and accommodation, power supply and lighting, medical equipment, water filtration, field catering, track-way and flooring, communications and vehicles.
Trango will be exhibiting a fully equipped Rapid Response Centre (RRC) supported 24/7/365 from Trango’s manned Operations and Disaster Management Centre. Deployed in the event of a serious incident, demonstrations of the safe travel management system, live tracking, incident visualisation and warning and informing systems will be provided.
The RRC includes the latest communications equipment: mobile phone networks, satellite communications (even data from aircraft or UAV’s can be viewed and analysed), to assist in crisis command control coordination and intelligence (C4i). GIS mapping of the area displayed on a Touchtable allows the processing and visualisation of all received data. Satellite and / or GPRS tracking is used to track personnel, ships, aircraft, vehicles and ensures effective management and safety of people and resources. Each response team member is registered on a safe travel data base so that their medical /personnel details are available if required. Trango’s Operations and Disaster Management Centre in the UK tracks the progress of a mission and offers advice and assistance as required.
Working in partnership with associated service providers, Trango will demonstrate the full capability of deploying and advantages of utilising a Rapid Response Centre.
